Summary: Loses sight of what made the first one fun to watch in the first place.
The second Movie/OVA starts off right where the first one stopped. Rune Balot struggles to defeat Boiled, while her cute little mouse partner (Oeufcoque) bleeds nearly to death.
Honestly, I've pretty much lost sight of the plot already at this point. THIS IS GOING TO BE A REALLY SHORT REVIEW. All I can remember is that there tons of violence and weirdly out-of-place gambling involved. Indeed, the ultra-violence that defined the first movie is still present here, but the extreme cheesiness seems to have disappeared. Names like "Medium the Fingernail" and "Professor Faceman" pales in comparison to the first movie's "Mincemeat the Wink" and "Welldone the Pussyhand".
During the panel at AFA, producer Nakanishi Go (I wonder if that's why the studio is named GoHands) mentions that they took a lot of liberties with the source material. I'm not sure how different it was to the animation, but something tells me it was probably better written. Will I watch the 3rd, and final, part of this trilogy? Yeah, probably. But let's just hope it ends differently from the first 2 films, because they always end with a
